The cottage has two identical spacious bedrooms with a kingbed in each. Full kitchen with oven , cooktop and microwave. The outdoor terrace has plenty of seating for 4 and another terrace in a bush clearing provides amazing views of Mt Ruapehu. At night hear the kiwi calling and you can go for a wonder to see if you can spot them. Wild deer also roam around. There is a strong focus on sustainability in the cottage and where single use plastic for example could be avoided it has. All consumables of eco friendly and support small NZ businesses whose ethos is the same as ours. However luxury has not been compromised by providing you with more sustainable amenities. Despite its remote location, the internet is excellent. We can turn it off if you don't want the distraction and go on a device detox stay.
