It was imported by Members of the 1970 Operation Deep Freeze Program based in Christchurch & was not registered for the road until 1972 hence the 1972 Registration. The Car comes complete with original Ford documentation showing its original purchase order placed at the factory for the specifications required. The Car has 6 Owners + 6 Dealers but was owned by the Mustang Centre in Christchurch for the majority of its life. This Car is definitely not a Showroom Queen but still the body is very straight original factory paint & with no rust issues. It has been driven with 155,700 Miles on the clock. The Car has still matching numbers Motor, Gearbox & Diff. The Diff having a 3.25 to 1 Ratio, Traction-lok Gearbox is wide ratio 4 Seed top Loader. The interior & exterior are basically in original condition bar the original Rims were changed back in the 1980’s with period Minilite Mags. At 120,000 Miles the Engine was converted to a 4V from the original 2V 351 V8 Engine believed to be still the standard bore. Runs very well with no oil usage.
