Buses - Urban services
- Buses provide for around 70% of public transport trips in Auckland.
- Bus services generally run from around 6am to midnight
- Auckland has a growing number of bus lanes, some of which operate at peak times only and others 24 hours a day.
- These lanes are for buses and two-wheeled vehicles only and are intended to reduce congestion and shorten travel times.
- All are sign-posted and marked on the road surface.
