'New Zealand - The Maori Culture' is a living archive to record the history of the New Zealand Maori people through photographs.
The photographs reflect their culture, customs and traditions plus the impact that contact with Europeans has made on the Maori people.
We welcome our members and users to contribute to help grow it as a 'Living Archive'. A living archive is a digital, virtual archive celebrating a theme or topic of interest where we can all play a part in assembling a collection for the world to appreciate. It allows us to share with passionate people the items we own without giving up ownership to create a public collection.
